The Mastercuts* series was a high quality dj friendly collections from Beechwood music,
containing classic songs from many music genres.
Every compilation include a double lp** in gatefold cover.
In each side of the records has three tracks maximum ,with the 12'' versions of the tracks (where available).
The man behind Mastercuts series was Ian Dewhirst*** and completed 20 collections before left Beechwood music.
(The collectors prefer the first 20 releases.)
After Ian left Beechwood music, there were still a few high-quality compilations released , and
then they became more commercial into CD-only.

Previously part of the Beechwood Music group.

*** Ian Dewhirst is best known as a compiler.But he got his start in music DJing in the Northern soul scene.
