Goss was born in Salem, Massachusetts, and grew up in South Florida. After years of playing musicin bands and acting in plays and films, he published his first book on pop culture. Pop Culture Florida chronicles the notable people and events in Florida from 1945 to the present. His second book, Vinyl Lives, explores the history of the American record store and its revival as a community resource. James resides in South Florida with his writer wife and their son. He writes for music magazines and plays his old vinyl records. |
